PAGES Open Science Meeting in 2013 at NCAOR, Goa

PAGES announced that the 4^th PAGES (Past Global Changes) Open Science Meeting will be held in February 2013 at Goa. PAGES is a core project of the International Geosphere Biosphere Programme (IGBP) and coordinate research aimed at understanding the Earth’s past climate and environment, assisting future climate projections. The Indian proposal coordinated by NCAOR was selected from a strong competition of 10 bids, internationally. To date, three such Open Science Meetings held at London, UK (1998); Beijing, China (2005) and Corvallis, USA (2009), with exceptionally large international participation. It is an honour for all of us and we welcome the entire Palaeo Community to Goa in 2013.
